She was born on the 24th of October 1970 in Ankara. She completed her primary, middle school, and high school education in Ankara. She graduated from the Hacettepe University, Fine Arts Faculty, Graphic Design Department undergraduate program in 1994. She worked in the fields of information technologies and multimedia as a graphic designer at the Sebit and Mobilsoft companies. She worked as a design coordinator at the Innovation Centre of Near East University in 2007. She worked at the Near East University, Communication Faculty, Visual Communication, and Design Department as a full-time lecturer until 2013. She obtained her doctorate degree with her thesis titled “Cyprus Themed Video Game Design” in 2017. She continues to work as a lecturer at the Near East University, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Department of Graphic Design.
