Course summary
Our course will be separated into different parts in order to allow participants to learn in a planned manner and at their own speed. Initially, an introduction will be available where participants first get to see and understand what IELTS is all about. Videos giving detailed information about the four categories of which the exam is made up of are also available. After giving this in-depth information, including example questions and answers, participants will see what a complete IELTS examination paper looks like. There will be mock questions available and ultimately the participants will be given an opportunity to do complete examinations as well. This will give participants firsthand experience and help them when they take the real examination.
Course description
Our course is designed to aid and guide the participants to learn the steps that they should follow in order to pass their IELTS examination successfully. Relevant information on questions, tips, and writing practice as well as what to focus on for listening and speaking will be given. Our aim is to prepare the participants, so they feel at ease when entering the examination.
Course outcomes
This course will give students the opportunity to see new aspects of the English language for the first time. In addition, they will be able to recognize a wide range of vocabulary, develop the skill to look for specific information and also learn many synonyms which they could use in their everyday lives. These are just some of the areas students will be shown:
- a wide range of vocabulary,
- synonyms & Antonyms,
- looking for specific information,
- responding to different types of tasks,
- language needed to complete the tasks.
Course modules
There are 4 modules incorporated into this course. They are reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Each module has a variety of sub-categories with lots of practice opportunities. When necessary, personal guidance and/or remedial support will be offered based on the participants’ performance in activities/tests.
For whom is this course offered?
This course is for non-native English Language Speakers, especially for students (undergraduates or postgraduates), who are aiming at a higher level of education. It is also for participants doing re-takes. In addition, anyone planning on working in an Academic Institution, where English proficiency is a must, will find taking this exam an advantage.

This course will help participants to improve their English in all of the 4 skills. they will be given information by a native speaker of English. This will help participants to hear and pronounce words correctly. Besides this, they will have a chance to learn strategies and tips which will be relevant for all 4 skills as well as be acquainted with a variety of synonyms, antonyms, phrases, and IELTS academic vocabulary. It will offer participants the opportunity to better themselves and give them more confidence when using the English language. This course will help participants achieve their goals: As with any preparation course that participants take, there is no guarantee that a 100% success rate will be achieved. However, diligent participants are sure to gain beneficial knowledge which will undoubtedly help them in their quest to achieve their individual goals.
