Course description

In this course, three-dimensional printers and silicone mould methods that have become the most common topics in recent years are explained. Other than theoretical knowledge, the practical experience of the lecturers and the factors that must be considered will be discussed.


Course summary

Three-dimensional printers and silicone moulds that are becoming increasingly popular can be used in many fields including engineering, architecture, art, medicine etc. The main aim in using these technologies is that they enable small-scale production and can be modified, changed and personalised. Through these technologies that provide design freedom, many designs can be created. This course will focus on the machines, equipment, raw materials, design conditions etc. related to these technologies that are becoming more commonly used.


Course outcomes

  • Participants will have general knowledge of three-dimensional printing technologies,
  • Participants will have general knowledge of the silicone moulding method,
  • It is stressed that these methods that are widely used in the field of engineering can also be applied as a hobby. It will provide a hobby for those who are interested,
  • It will show how designed products can be created at low cost and in a short time,
  • Participants will obtain information about advanced technologies.

  • General settings of three-dimensional printing software,
  • Factors that must be considered in selecting three-dimensional printer raw materials,
  • Creating silicone mould master models,
  • Steps of taking a silicone mould,
  • Silicone mould product pouring steps,
  • Silicone mould raw material selection.

1995 yılında Hatay'ın İskenderun ilçesinde doğdu. Lise öğrenimimi Hatay’da tamamladı, Makine Mühendisliği eğitimimi 2013 yılında Manisa Celal Bayar Üniversitesi'nde aldı. 2019 yılında aynı üniversitenin Termodinamik Ana Bilim Dalı'nda yüksek lisans eğitimine başladı. İş hayatında, analiz, tasarım programlarının yanı sıra üç boyutlu yazıcılar, silikon kalıplama gibi prototip üretim alanlarında tecrübe kazanmaya başladı.
