Course summary

This course explains how technology can be used as a tool to support changes in teaching and learning styles in 21st-century classrooms. It also examines how participants can increase their productivity by using technology for communication and collaboration. Participants will examine the benefits and possible disadvantages of using technology in their classroom and learn alternative ways of using it.

This course provides a general overview of current tools, practices, media, and environments used in education. It also explains how information technology supports the educational process. This course explains how multi-user virtual environments, intelligent teaching systems, customized personal information systems, and augmented reality can support teaching and learning in general.

She completed her undergraduate education in the Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technologies at Eastern Mediterranean University in 2010. In 2011, she completed her master's degree in Information Technologies at Bournemouth University in England. In 2018, she received her doctorate degree from the Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technologies at Near East University. She started her academic career in the Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technologies at Eastern Mediterranean University in 2011 and has been working in the Near East University Computer Informatics Department since 2019.
