Asst. Prof. Dr. Cemal Kavalcıoğlu was born on September 8, 1977 in Nicosia. He completed his primary education at Küçük Kaymaklı Primary School, his secondary education at Şehit Hüseyin Ruso Secondary School, and high school education at Nicosia Turkish High School. He continued his undergraduate education at the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of Near East University and graduated in 1999. He received his master's degree from the same department of the same university in 2002. Asst. Prof. Dr. Cemal Kavalcıoğlu completed his doctorate degree study on 24.07.2020 and received the title of Doctor (Ph.D.). Asst. Prof. Dr. Cemal Kavalcıoğlu has been working as lecturer at the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of Near East University since 2004. Since 2014, he has served as the Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronic technology and a lecturer in the High Technician programme since 2016. Since 2017, he has been the Vice Chair of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Asst. Prof. Dr. Cemal Kavalcıoğlu has presented papers at 14 international conferences, has 1 article published in SCI, 9articles published in international refereed journals, and 9 articles published in national refereed journals so far.
