Born on 25 October 1989 in Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria, Abdullahi completed undergraduate

program in Laboratory Science Technology from the Nigerian Institute of Science and Leather

Technology, Zaria. He served at General Hospital, Mina, Niger State, for one year before earning an

MSc in Bioengineering from Cyprus International University, where he worked as a student assistant

at the university’s information centre. Abdullahi completed his doctoral degree in Biomedical

Engineering from Near East University, and worked as a research assistant in the same department.

Currently, Dr Abdullahi is an Associate Professor (Assoc. Prof. Dr.) and Lecturer in the Department

of Biomedical Engineering at Near East University. He served as Vice Chairman of the department

from 2021-2026. His research area span from Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT),
