Asst. Prof. Dr. Erkan Sülün completed his bachelor's degree in education at the Department of Music Teaching of Gazi University. He received his master's and Ph.D. degrees in Music Education from the same department. He worked as a lecturer at Ankara University State Conservatory between 2008-2012 and at the EMU Music Teaching Department between 2012-2015. He has been working as a lecturer in the Department of Music Teaching at Near East University since 2015. At the same time, he is the Vice-Chairperson of the Department of Fine Arts Education. He has been a founding member and co-chair of the International Northern Cyprus Guitar Festival since 2017.
