She was born in Limassol in 1966. After graduating from Güzelyurt Kurtuluş High School, she graduated from the Department of Child Development and Preschool Teaching of Gazi University. She completed her master's degree at the Department of Education Management and Inspection in 2002. She worked as a teacher and responsible teacher in village schools for 18 years. In 2004, she was appointed as the Director of the Primary Education Office of the Ministry of National Education. Considering the need for special education schools, she managed projects and launched special education schools in Yeşilyurt and Famagusta. She has also worked with her team to spread the preschool education starting from the age of 4 and increased focus on the development of preschool institutions across the country. She and her team have exerted significant effort on projects regarding full-time schooling and carried out activities regarding this issue at Şehit Ertuğrul Primary School. In 2016, she served as the Director of the Youth Office. She implemented the child and youth projects for the Prime Ministry in 2019. During her years as a teacher in villages, she pioneered the establishment of women's associations to enable women to contribute more to social life. She is one of the founders of the Foundation for Preventing Social Risks. She implemented the first women's shelter project in the TRNC and helped hundreds of women hold on to life. Hatice Düzgün, who claims that women and children are her specialty field, is the founder of the Montessori Schools established in 2011. She has made observations and studies in the best schools of many countries and participated in many conferences and made presentations on the TRNC education system and Montessori education system. She organizes educational conferences on various issues for teachers and parents. She is married to the journalist writer Başaran Düzgün and has two children.
