Savaş Güngör was born in Nicosia, Cyprus. He graduated as valedictorian of the Department of Visual Communication Design of the Faculty of Communication of Near East University. He completed his master's degree in the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design at the same university and his doctorate program in the Department of Media and Communication Studies. Güngör has been continuing his artistic and academic studies at the Department of Visual Communication Design of the Faculty of Communication of Near East University since 2015. He is also the coordinator of the Associate Degree Program in Computer-Aided Design & Animation and Visual Communication.
