Artist SelçukYalovalı was born on the 6th of June 1984 in Nicosia. He successfully passed the skills exam and was accepted into the Nicosia Fine Arts Middle School, and after studying for three years, he went to Ankara Anadolu Fine Arts High School in Turkey. Then, he enrolled at Gazi University Arts and Crafts Department and graduated. After that, he began teaching at the Near East Primary School, where he continued to work for 12 years. Since 2020, he has been in charge of the Near East University Fine Arts and Design Faculty Press Art Workshop. In his project, he examines the art of the cultures that have lived in Cyprus since1700 BC using the linocut approach.
