Ahmet Alan was born in Aksaray in 1980. He completed his Visual Communication Design training at the Near East University Faculty of Communication. He assumed various duties in different films, television series and documentaries. He took on the role of program director for Kanal T television while living in Cyprus. He has also edited numerous films, including ‘Bana Bir Soygun Yaz’ (2018), ‘Kovan’ (2018), ‘Yaralı Keklik’ (2018), ‘Nezih Bir Film’ (2018), ‘3 Kuruş’ (2018), ‘Hasret Bitti’ (2018), ‘Emanet’ (2016), ‘91.1’ (2015), ‘Şeytan-ı Racim’ (2015), ‘Enkaz’ (2014), ‘Sebat & Melahat’ (2013), ‘Gecenin Tenhasında’ (2013) and ‘Yol Ayrımı’ 2011. The documentaries he has directed include: Sarıkamış'ın bilinmeyen kahramanı Meryem Atmaca, ‘Meryem (2019)’, ‘Evrim Topkapı Sarayı’ (2017), and ‘Yıldızın Parladığı Anlar’ (2017).
