Senay Yonluer was born in Nicosia, Cyprus in 1992. In 2015 she completed her Molecular Genetics BSc (Hons) Degree at the University of Dundee in Scotland. Her career in the beauty industry began after her graduation from university when she enrolled in permanent makeup, makeup, and aesthetics courses in Turkey. Then in 2015, she opened her own exclusive beauty salon under the name of Senay Yonluer Beauty & Makeup in Nicosia, Cyprus. In 2017, in order to improve her professional makeup portfolio, she attended the Academy of Freelance Makeup in London. She participated in the master classes of the world’s leading makeup brands such as Bobbi Brown, Charlotte Tilbury, Mac and Nars. She is thus far the one and only Turkish Cypriot who has worked as a professional backstage makeup artist at London/Milan/Paris Fashion Week, at Men’s Fashion Week, and in Paris Couture. By constantly participating in international seminars and master classes all over the world, her aim is to continue to improve herself by pursuing innovative and pivotal changes and standards in the permanent makeup and makeup fields.
