She was born in 1979 in Nicosia. She entered the Hacettepe University Fine Arts Faculty Graphic Design Department in 1996. She then graduated from the Fine Arts Department at CIU in 2002. She established her personal art workshop in 2003. She graduated from the Near East University Ataturk Education Faculty Middle School Specialist Teaching and Fine Arts Faculty Plastic Arts Graduate Program in 2009. She graduated from the NEU Education Programs and Instruction Department Ph.D. program in 2018. Miralay, who started her professional art studies in 2000, continues as the Head of the Fine Arts Education Painting Teaching Department at the Near East University Atatürk Education Faculty.
